How to restore from a USB

How can I restore data from a USB or external hard drive into my Stockbook? 

Step 1 (if you operate more than one database)

• Ensure you are in the right Society and Livestock type, these are displayed at the top of the screen.​

Step 2:

• Select the File > Restore Database menu option.

Step 3

• If you receive error message below, click on the Cancel button. 

Step 4

• Insert USB flash/memory stick or similar device into the USB port in your computer/laptop.
• Click on the a local folder ... radio dial to select .
• Click on the Yellow Folder icon​.

Step 5

• Select the drive (eg. E:) in which the backup is located.
• Click on the OK button.

Step 6

• The most recent Stockbook backup will appear at the top of the list of available files.
• Click to highlight your required backup file.
• Click on the Restore button.

Step 7

• Click Yes to the Confirm message:

• Click Yes to Information message: 'Restore completed"
