Entering transactions for the previous BAS period

I am unable to enter a transaction as it is in the previous BAS period.

This error indicates you have already finalised your BAS for the period covering the transaction date.

If you have already submitted your BAS to the ATO, please contact your accountant for advice.

If you have not submitted your BAS to the ATO:

• Click on the GST/Previous BAS Returns menu option
• Highlight the most recent BAS by clicking on it.
• Click on the Delete button
• Once the BAS has been deleted, you can enter the required transactions
• Re-do the BAS that was deleted
