Load this year's actual data into a Budget

How do I load add this year's actual data into a budget.

Step 1

• Open the budgets module by clicking on the Budgets > Advanced Budgets menu option

Step 2

• Open the budget into which you wish to load this year's actual data
• Click on the Setup > Load Actual menu option

Step 3

• Select the banks from which you wish to load this year’s data. Use Ctrl+Click to multi-select if you don’t want transactions from all banks to be included.

Step 4

• Select which Enterprise data to load into the budget.
  • If you are preparing a non-enterprise type budget you would select <All Enterprises into current section>.
  • If you are preparing an enterprise type budget, you would select <All Enterprises into their own section>.
  • You can also select to load specific enterprise data into the currently selected Enterprises (tab) in the budget.

Step 5

• Choose the year(s) you wish to load the data into by ticking the corresponding boxes. The actual data will be loaded into each year you select.

Step 6

• Click on the OK button.

NOTE: If you have already imported the actuals from a previous year, importing this year's actuals will override the data entered in the months for which there is data in your Cashbook. For example, if there has only been data entered up to January this year in Cashbook, then importing the actuals for this year will load data up to January and the remaining months will remain filled with the data that was already there.
