Change Date and Time Format

How do I change the Date and Time Format on my computer?

WINDOWS 7

• Click the Start button in the lower-left corner of your screen, or press the Windows logo key on your keyboard.
• Click on the Control Panel > Region and Language option.
• Make sure Format is English (Australia).
• Make sure Short date is dd/MM/yyy.
• Click on the Apply button.
• Click on the OK button.

WINDOWS 8 & 10

• Search for Control Panel.
• Under Clock, Language, and Region  (or Regional Settings), click on Change date, time, or number formats.

• Ensure that the Format (region) is set to English(Australia).
• Change the Short date format to d/MM/yyyy or dd/MM/yyyy.
• Click Apply, and the changes take effect immediately.
• Click OK.
