Pedigree Only Animals

What is a Pedigree Only animal and how do I add them?

A Pedigree Animal is one that is entered solely for record/pedigree purposes.

The animal is not physically on the property but is used in the pedigree of one that is.

Pedigree Animals do not show up on the active animal list. They will show up when the Include Inactive option is selected.

To add a new animal as Pedigree Only tick the box Pedigree Only bottom right of the Add New Animal screen.

Another way of adding a Pedigree Only animal is to add it as the dam or sire of an animal.

Click on the Plus (+) button next the the Birthing Dam or Sire to add a Pedigree Only Dam or Sire for the animal being added.

You can fill in as many or little details as you want, only an ID is required.
