Attaching a Photograph to a Current Animal

How do I attach a photograph to an animal on the current animal list?

Each animal may have a photograph linked/attached to it.

• User should have all their animal photos saved to a specific location or folder on their computer.
• Each photograph linked/attached to an animal is actually stored in that specific location mentioned above, not in Stockbook itself.
• Do not change storage location of photograph, or link will be broken.

The steps to attach a photograph are:

• Click on Animals toolbar icon.
• Find the animal on the current animal list.
• 1. Click on the animal.
• 2. Click on the blue Photo tab at the bottom of the screen.

• In the Photograph window:
  • Click on the Load button.

• In the Search for Images ... window:
  • Select the photograph from your photograph folder. (Note: Photo file type must be in Bitmaps or JPegs format.) 
  • Click on the Open button.

• Photograph will appear in the Photograph window.
  • Click on the Save button.

To remove a link between the photo and the animal:

• Find the animal on the current animal list.
• Click on the blue Photo tab.
• Click the Remove Link button.
• Click Yes to the Confirm message: ' Are you sure that you want to remove the link to this photograph?'
• Click Cancel/Exit to close the screen.
