EID/Barcode Shortcuts

How do I set up EID/Barcode Shortcuts?

Stockbook you can set up EID/Barcode shortcuts, so that when you scan an EID or Barcode a Data Type and Value will be listed for the animal. It is best to set these up before you are in the yards to ensure they work and to save time.

Step 1.

Go into Live Entry

Step 2.

Go to Setup > Data Entry Panel

Step 3.

Click on EID/Barcode Shortcuts

Step 4.

Click on the EID/Barcode field and scan the EID/Barcode number. Then enter the Link Type, Linked To and the Value you wish to be applied for this EID/Barcode.

When you have finished entering all of the shortcuts you want click OK.
