Hotsync not transfering data to Stockhand

Summary

When I do a Hotsync it is not transfering data to Stockhand.

Detailed Description

If the Hotsync only puts the demo data onto Stockhand and the Update/Skip prompt never appears, try:
 

Step 1.

Close Hotsync by right clicking on the icon and clicking Exit.

Step 2. 

Open Hotsync again, but run as Administrator; and

To run as Administrator simply go to the shortcut, right-click on it and select Run as Administrator.

Step 3.  

Add Stockhand and Stockbook to your anti-virus exceptions. You can do an internet search on google to find out how to do this.
