How do I exporting a Stockbook contact list to Excel?
Detailed Description
Step 1
Click on the Contacts toolbar icon
The list presents basic details of every contact in your database.
A green background means that you have selected the contact.
You may select contacts in a contiguous group by clicking on the first contact in the group, holding down the Shift key and then clicking on the last contact in the group.
Individual contacts may be selected or deselected by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on the contact.
Click on the Select All button, to select all contacts.
Step 2
Click on Mail Merge button at the bottom of the page.
Step 3
Click Yes to the following message: (Note: You will need to remember or make a note of the location that the file is being saved to.)
Click OK to the Information message: 'Done.'
You can now open in Excel.
Step 4
Open your Microsoft Excel program.
Click on the Data tab.
Double click on From Text.
Select the Mail Merge file created earlier
Click on the Import button.
In the Text Import Wizard - Step 1 of 3 window:
Click on the Delimited radio dial to select.
Click on the Next button.
In the Text Import Wizard - Step 2 of 3 window:
Tick the Comma Delimiters option check box.
Select " as the Text qualifier from the drop down list.
Click Next button.
In the Text Import Wizard - Step 3 of 3 window:
General is the default Column data format.
Click on the Finish button.
Select where you want to put the data (e.g. Exisiting worksheet, if Excel is opened on empty worksheet.)
Click on the OK button.
Your Excel worksheet should look similar to the following:
