Why won't my Cashbook bank account reconcile with my bank statement?
There could be several reasons for this:
1. You have not correctly followed the bank reconiliation procedure. Please look at How do I reconcile a bank account?
2. You may have altered the opening balance of the bank account. Please look at Changing Opening Balances.
3. You may have entered a transaction incorrectly, duplicated a transaction or missed a transaction.
If you have looked at these 3 possibilities but still cannot achieve reconciliation, please contact Practical Systems.
