Process a capital reconstruction

How do I process a capital reconstruction in the Investment Register?

There are occasions where companies will increase / decrease their capital and there is a need to process that event in the Investment Register.

To process these transactions you will 

• 1. Click on the Registers/Investments menu option as below

• 2. Select (click on) the investment to be amended and click on the Edit/Select button at the bottom of the screen.

• 3. Click on the Transactions tab at the top of the screen and click on the Add button

• 4. Add a purchase / sale for the number of shares to be amended with a $0 (zero) value. Click on the OK button once details have been entered.

• 5.Click on the Valuations tab and click on the Add button

• 6. Enter in the new advised/ market price value and click on the OK button
