Drop-down List Order of Account Codes in Transaction Entry

When using Review I am only able to search by Account Description, however I want to search by Account Code.

Select Code or Description order for display of drop-down list of chart of accounts in transaction entry. This setting will determine the sort order for the chart of accounts drop-down list in transaction entry screens as well as the searching method. For example, Description order will display the chart of accounts drop-down in account name order and as characters are entered from the keyboard, the list will dynamically search on account name.

Step 1.

• Click on the Setup > Settings menu option.

Step 2.

• Click on the Transactions tab and in the Order for dropdown lists, for the Chart of Accounts select Code. You can also do this for enterprises if you wish to.
