Prefilling a budget

How can I quickly spread regular amounts (e.g. monthly lease payment) across a budget without having to enter in each individual figure?

Step 1

Select the budget line you wish to prefill.

Step 2

Click on the Tools > Prefill menu option (or press the F5 key)

or

Step 3

Select the Prefill interval: monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly. 

Step 4

Enter a Prefill amount as per period or per annum amount.

Note: This value does not include decimal places. 

Step 5

Select (click and drag) the Period of Budget to Prefill (up to five years).

Step 6

Click on the OK button to confirm.
