Export Joinings To Breedplan

How do I export joinings to Breedplan? 

Step 1

• Click on the File > Export Options > Breedplan Joinings/Fates Exports menu option

Step 2 

• Select 'Mating Data' as the Export Data Type.
• Click on the Save button to choose the location in which the exported file is to be saved.

Step 3

• Enter the correct dates for the start and end of joining.
• Click on the OK button

Step 4

• A list all of the eligible Dams to be added will show on the screen.
• Click on the Back button to edit the Dam list.
• This will take you back to Step 3 to edit the dates for joining period.
• If the Dam list is correct, click on the OK button to continue the export.

Step 5

• Note the location of the file.  You will need to know this when sending the file to Breedplan at a later date
• Click on the Yes button
• Click on the OK button

Note: It is important that once the CalfDays.dat  file has been created, it is not opened. Opening this file will alter the way it is formatted and the Breedplan software will not be able to read it.
