How do I create a new budget?

Detailed Description

Step 1

  • Open the budgets module by clicking on the Budgets toolbar option

Step 2

  • Click on the File > New menu option

 

Step 3

  • Enter a title for your new budget in the Name box
  • Select whether you would like the budget to be GST inclusive or exclusive in the Input Budget Amounts
  • Select the Budget Template required. 'Last Year Accounts Used' is good because it excludes the accounts that were not utilised.
  • Select the enterprises you wish to include in your budget
  • Click on the OK button

 

Step 4

  • Your new budget is ready for you to enter information
